Untangle Your Angle

COPYEDITING

You've written and rewritten, read, reread, and read some more. You're ready to share your project with the world, but it needs to be perfect. Time to enlist the services of a professional copyeditor.

Copyediting runs the gamut between light proofreading to developmental or structural editing – and everything in between. Whether it's a resume for that dream job, a blog post for your small business, or the Great American Novel, I'll make sure it's the best it can possibly be.

As an experienced editor, it's my job to make sure your participles aren't dangling, "affect" and "effect" have been used properly, and your subjects and verbs agree.

Whether you just need a fresh set of eyes to double-check your spelling and punctuation or full-blown story and character development, I'll make sure that the finished product is something you can be proud of (or, of which you can be proud – whichever you prefer).

CONTENT CREATION

Whether you're looking for a catchy headline to promote your new product, an engaging blog post to push out to your followers via social media, or a narrative that tells your brand story, I can help.

As a freelance content creator, I'll do some digging to find out more about you – your goals, your target audience, and your brand essence. Together we'll find the appropriate tone and voice so that your message is heard far and wide.

I'm skilled not only in writing content, but in finding just the right treatment for your message, from social media posts to blog entries, print advertisements to product descriptions, how-tos to comparisons.

From charts and infographics to timelines and listicles, I'll find the best way to capture your audience.

My expertise includes cloud computing, fintech, health and beauty, travel, food and beverage, hospitality, home and garden, and more.

About Me

About Me

About Me

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Word wrangler. Grammar guru. Conjunction connoisseur. Regardless of what you hire me to do, it's my goal to make sure your hard work is represented in the best possible way.

I have a bachelor of arts degree in advertising and communications from Simmons University in Boston and work as a copyeditor and freelance writer. Some of the brands I've worked with include Broadleaf Books, Fortress Press, 1517 MediaNOVICA, Planet Fitness, Unitil, Cloudwards, and Opal Collection hotels. Prior to launching my freelance career, I was the copyeditor for Hawthorn Creative – a hospitality marketing firm on the New Hampshire Seacoast.

I excel at spelling, usage, syntax, and punctuation, but my true “superpower” is distilling complex concepts into succinct, digestible content tailored to my audience. I'm fluent in Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition and AP style, and I'm happy to work with (or help develop) proprietary style guides.

Getting Inclusivity Right in  Your Event Venue Marketing

Simply put, marketing solves a problem for consumers by connecting them with products and services. It sure sounds easy, but effective marketing isn't a one-size-fits-all undertaking. Chances are, most people within your target audience have something unique about them that makes them different, whether it be related to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, or physical ability.

Sunshine in Your Stein:
A Guide to the Ale Trail of Florida's Palm Beaches

Although the craft beer scene continues to expand its reach to the far corners of civilization, the Sunshine State of Florida may not immediately come to mind when you ponder pilsner or contemplate kolsch – but its 250-plus breweries beg to differ. While the Tampa–St. Petersburg area is arguably the hotbed of craft brewing in Florida, the roster of 19-plus (and growing) taprooms of Palm Beach County continues to surprise and delight. Here, we highlight a few of the stops along the Ale Trail of The Palm Beaches (as well as a newcomer or two) that are worth a visit.

The Digital Channels
Medical Aesthetic Practices Need to Use

Last month, there were 554,000 Google searches for Botox, 146,000 for hydra facials, and 21,000 for body contouring. Imagine capturing just 2% of this audience, bringing 14,000 potential customers to your website? If you’re not actively targeting this audience, you’re handing would-be customers over to your competition for free. But the good news is that, by investing in the proper digital channels, you’ll capture your fair share of the market. Here’s our approach to making sure you’re winning Google over with SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
